Dr. Steve Mehler
DVM, DACVS

Dr. Mehler is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. He is a graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University. Upon graduation, he completed a one-year internship and a three-year surgical residency in surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. After completing his surgical residency, he joined the faculty as an assistant professor of surgery and interventional radiology at Michigan State University. Dr. Mehler was also adjunct faculty at the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of California, Davis and has provided similar services at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Mehler has also had extensive experience in the development of medical devices and interventional procedures for companion animals, wound healing products, and the formulation and development of nutritional and nutraceuticals for the management of numerous conditions in dogs and cats. Dr. Mehler is an internationally recognized lecturer, publisher, researcher, and has traveled the world training veterinarians to be more proficient in the practice of surgery.
